The Brunch Bounce

A phenomenon sweeping the world. The breakfast and lunch hybrid - coined “brunch.”

It’s a favourite here in Melbourne… Maybe it’s because there’s smashed avo involved? (Remember, we buy so much of it that we can't afford a deposit on our first home....) Or maybe the fact that it means pancakes at 11am?
Whatever it is, there’s something about that makes us super excited. Liven’s got a quality brunch range that should satisfy any taste.

Your month is made. Follow the dots, and enjoy a few of our favourite spots!

Every single one of these venues accepts Livenpay so every single time you spend, you'll score a sweet 25% back in liven cash.

Colourful, fruity goodness!!!
Junkyard cafe does an amazing smoothie bowl, packed with seasonal fruits and healthy treats. As an added bonus, it’s also super pretty (ie, #instaworthy!)

They also do big cooked brekkies for the lovers of a savoury feed.

MAMA MARIJAS (South Yarra)

Monster brunches fit for monster appetites- vegan or not.
Mama Marija’s is a literal brunch heaven serving vegan stacks, big brekkies, smoothie bowls, avo’ smash and, much more.

Sneak in through the Prahran market after buying a months worth of cheese and reward yourself for all the hard work.

If you like sleeping in as much as you like munching brunch, no stress, Tess. Little Oak Eatery does brekkie/brunch(brekkunch) from 7am til 3pm. Sleep in, eat out.

If you’ve got a taste for the sweet, grab waffles, buttermilk pancakes, coconut chia pudding, fruit salad, muesli, or porridge.

Those for a savory feast will love their brekkie bagel, brekkie burger, omelette, or smashed avo on sourdough with poached egg, tomato and feta. Taaaaasty.

All day classics and some Mexican favourites, so you can play it safe or spice things up a little.

Eggs on toast, waffles or muesli - maybe huevos rancheros (chipotle scrambled eggs), or corn fritters with avocado salsa. Your choice.

BLUETRAIN (Southbank)

A buritto?! For breakfast?! Why of course; only on the weekend though. On Saturday and Sunday, Melbourne's favourite meeting place offers a killer brekkie/brunch menu.

Bluetrain pushes the breakfast boundaries with beef brisket hash and a brekkie bruschetta. They also serves up some quality classics like smoothie bowls, pancakes and eggs Florentine.

Never mind that home deposit, smash avo instead.
