1. Transformer

Fitzroy

The team behind Melbourne favourites Panama Dining, Rice Queen and Vegie Bar have brought us a new all-veggie favourite, Transformer. Inside the warehouse exterior, you’ll find a casual yet cool space decorated with greenery and funky industrial style interior.

The menu is a plant based dream, start off with smoked beetroot and pecan dip w/ flatbread, then dive into the King oyster mushrooms with confit garlic & pine nut purée, smoked shallot & porcini salt. Order a pomegranate fizz or goji emoji to accompany and you’re looking at a 5 star vegetarian experience.

2. Maha

Melbourne CBD

Take your taste buds on an exotic Middle Eastern journey to Maha, Melbourne CBD. Maha features a regular menu and a full vegetarian menu with great variety, so you can take your carnivore boyfriend here and you will both be happy as larry.

The vegan lunch and dinner menu will inspire and delight. With A la Carte and set menu options featuring charred young leek with mahammara and spiced potatoes, and dark chocolate with urfa biber for dessert, this is just the beginning of a fantastic menu. Each dish is innovative and a testament to how versatile vego food can be.

Maha lives up to it’s veggie-filled reputation, their new and fresh approach raises the bar on creative Middle Eastern cuisine, and thanks to the talents of head chef Shane Delia it has cemented itself as a favourite in vegetarian (and non vegetarian) fine dining in Melbourne.
